Dave Burrows

Dave Burrows is the founder of Damibu Ltd, a technology company established in April 2010 that specializes in advanced health information management solutions for the public sector. In addition to this, Dave has been an alumni and fellow of the NHS Innovation Accelerator since November 2017, contributing to a cross-disciplinary community focused on scaling evidence-based innovations for patient benefit. From September 2016 to May 2023, Dave served as a board member of the Liverpool City Region Health and Life Sciences Board, promoting economic growth in the health and life sciences sectors. Prior to these roles, Dave held various positions at Sony Computer Entertainment Europe from 2000 to 2010, including Studio Group PSN Technical Director and Technical Director for the WipEout franchise. Earlier in Dave's career, positions included Research and Development Manager/Lead Programmer at Acclaim Entertainment and Technical Director at Virtek (GSI). Educational qualifications include an MSc in VLSI Design from The University of Manchester and a BSc (Hons) in Electronic Engineering from The Manchester Metropolitan University.
