Ellen Josephine Fowler

Ellen Josephine Fowler is a seasoned pharmacy professional with a diverse background in community pharmacy development and education. Currently part of NHS Lothian since July 2023, Ellen previously served as a Senior Educator at NHS Education for Scotland from March 2022 to August 2023, and as a Practice Educator in 2021. Ellen's managerial experience includes a role as Pharmacy Manager at Right Medicine Pharmacy Ltd from May 2017 to July 2021. Ellen also worked as a Locum Pharmacist from September 2016 to May 2017 and briefly as Snow Zone Manager with Powder Byrne in 2017. Early career highlights include serving as a Swim Coach and Life Guard with Camp America from June 2015 to September 2016, as well as a Swim Coach at Aberdeen Learn to Swim from January 2010 to July 2014. Ellen holds a Pharmacy Masters in Health Care from Robert Gordon University, which was obtained between 2011 and 2015, following an education at St Margarets School for Girls from 2006 to 2011.
