Ian MacIntyre

Ian MacIntyre serves as the Associate Director of Software Engineering and Application Management at NHS National Services Scotland since April 2024. Previously, Ian was the Head of Digital at NHS Leadership Academy from May 2016 to April 2022, where a significant transformation of the Learning Management Systems portfolio led to a 40% budget reduction. Ian's extensive experience at Vodafone Group Services spanned over two decades, where roles included Global Head of Delivery for Digital and Customer Operations, overseeing a €7M budget and managing delivery teams across 21 countries, as well as various senior management roles focusing on application development and systems integration. Ian began a career in programming at the Inland Revenue and Northavon District Council after earning a BA (Hons) in Finance with Accounting from North-East London Polytechnic.
