Susan Bahl

Susan Bahl has extensive work experience in various roles related to media, policy, public affairs, and parliamentary work. Susan most recently held the position of Head of Media at NHS Providers, starting in September 2021. Prior to that, they worked as the Strategic Communications and Media Lead at NHS Providers from January 2021 to September 2021. Before joining NHS Providers, Susan was the Head of Policy and Public Affairs at NHS Providers from December 2019 to January 2021.

Prior to their work at NHS Providers, Susan worked for the British Medical Association (BMA) from 2006 to 2019. Susan'sroles at BMA included being the Brexit Lead from January 2017 to December 2019, the Senior Public Affairs Officer from June 2010 to January 2017, and the Parliamentary Officer from April 2006 to June 2010.

Susan also gained experience in parliamentary and public affairs through roles at The National Childbirth Trust as a Parliamentary Officer from April 2004 to April 2006, and at the Office of Julia Drown MP as a Parliamentary Intern from April 2004 to December 2004.

Furthermore, they gained relevant experience as a Public Affairs Intern at Breakthrough Breast Cancer from September 2002 to July 2003, and as a Parliamentary Analyst at DeHavilland from September 2000 to September 2002.

Susan Bahl completed their undergraduate education from 1997 to 2000 at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), obtaining a BSc degree in International Relations and History. Later, from 2002 to 2003, they pursued further studies at UCL, earning an MSc degree in Public Policy.
