Board adviser – primary care at NHS

Andrew is an experienced senior executive within the NHS, having been CEO of Central London Community Health Care NHS Trust for 6 years, and a regional director twice, once for the South of England and more recently for London.

Andrew has led NHS organisations including primary care trusts, commissioning support units and an NHS trust and was a board level director for over 15 years. He has worked successfully in primary care settings, community care, acute care and regulatory, local, regional and national roles, and at central government level programme managing the Better Care Fund at its inception. As Director of Primary and Community Care in Tower Hamlets Primary Care Trust, he led the significant development and improvement of primary care and community health services in London’s East End, creating primary care networks that led to significant improvements in access and outcomes across a diverse population.

He is now an advisor to organisations that work in health, a trustee of a health related charity, and chair of a Resident Management Company.
