Paul Crawford is the founder and first professor of the global, interdisciplinary field of Health Humanities at the University of Nottingham, where they have served since 2001. In addition to their professorship, they are the Director of the Centre for Social Futures at the Institute of Mental Health and Nottingham Health Humanities. They currently also hold the position of Lead Researcher at NHS. Paul continues their education in English Studies.
