Rahul Sharma

Rahul Sharma is a skilled civil engineer with extensive experience in design and engineering for significant infrastructure projects. Currently serving as Deputy General Manager (Design - Civil) at the National High Speed Rail Corporation Ltd since August 2021, Rahul contributes to the design and engineering of tunnel and underground works, as well as plumbing and firefighting systems for India's first bullet train project. Prior to this role, Rahul held various positions at NHPC Limited from September 2009 to July 2021, including Manager Civil, where responsibilities included overseeing the design and engineering of the Teesta VI Hydro-Electric Project, and Deputy Manager for the Kiru Hydro-electric Project. Rahul also has experience with the Mangdechhu Project and Baglihar Power Station, showcasing a diverse background in hydro-electric infrastructure. Rahul holds a Master of Technology in Rock Engineering & Underground Structures from the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi and a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from Madhav Institute of Technology and Science, Gwalior.
