Robert Doyle has a diverse and extensive work experience in the aviation industry. Robert began their career as a Bristow Cadet Pilot in 2002, where they underwent training and gained their Commercial Pilots Licence. Robert then joined Bristow Group in 2005 as a Helicopter Captain in Europe, operating various helicopter models in different locations. In 2011, they joined CHC Helicopter as a Helicopter Captain in Australia. Robert later worked for Bristow Group again from 2013 to 2016, serving as a Helicopter Captain in both Australia and Nigeria. Robert then joined PHI Aviation in 2016, where they held the position of Head of Flight Operations Australia before transitioning to Helicopter Captain. In 2022, they joined GB Helicopters as a Helicopter Pilot, and most recently, they have become the Chief Pilot for NHV Group starting in 2023.
Robert Doyle attended Bristow Academy, where they obtained a EASA ATPL-H degree. Robert then attended St Francis Xavier's College from 1988 to 1995. Additionally, they received training at the Australian Institute of Management in Finance for Non-Finance Managers and Leadership - Self. Robert also received certifications in LICENCE TO OPERATE A BOOM-TYPE ELEVATING WORK PLATFORM (BOOM LENGTH 11 METRES OR MORE) from Tamworth TAFE and Chainsaw Operation and Maintenance from Total Height Safety.
