Kostya Kanyuka

Kostya Kanyuka is the Head of Plant Pathology at NIAB since November 2021, bringing a wealth of experience from previous roles at Rothamsted Research, where responsibilities included Senior Research Scientist, Project Leader, and Research Scientist from April 2002 to November 2021. Prior experience includes working as a Research Scientist at Long Ashton Research Station and a Researcher at The Sainsbury Laboratory. Kostya Kanyuka began an academic journey as a PhD student at the Institute of Agricultural Biotechnology from 1987 to 1991, following completion of an MSc and BSc in Molecular Biology (Virology) at Lomonosov Moscow State University from 1982 to 1987.
