Jessica Altman

Jessica Altman is an accomplished Founder and Director of Health and Wellness Educator at Garden Fresh Foodie since January 2014, specializing in plant-based cooking and wellness classes across various locations in Buffalo, NY. In addition to mentoring dietetic students, Jessica has collaborated with numerous community stakeholders, including renowned organizations such as Roswell Park and the American Heart Association, while developing leadership skills through program planning and marketing initiatives. Currently serving as a long-term substitute Living Environment Teacher at Niagara Falls City School District, Jessica is committed to addressing health care disparities and food access. Previous roles include Director of Marketing at Altman Dental, Health and Wellness Intern at Erie County Department of Health, and Health and Wellness Fellow at Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus, along with teaching positions at multiple colleges. Jessica's educational background includes a Master of Public Health from the University at Albany and a Certificate in Plant-Based Nutrition from Cornell University.
