Brad Otto

Brad Otto, PE, is an accomplished Electrical Engineer with extensive experience in various engineering roles. Currently employed at the Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority since November 2024, Otto previously served at the New York Power Authority from November 2009 to November 2024, where notable contributions included approval for a $1.1 billion, 15-year program and oversight of the Lewiston Pump Generating Plant Life Extension and Modernization project. Otto's career also encompasses roles at General Motors as a Controls Engineer, Sherwood Electromotion Inc. as Quality Assurance and Purchasing Manager, and Tonawanda Coke Corp. in electrical maintenance. Initial military experience as an Electricians Mate in the US Navy provided foundational skills in electrical equipment management. Otto holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University at Buffalo, complemented by education at the Navy Nuclear Power School.
