Harman Boyal

Harman Boyal, CISSP, C., currently serves as the Associate Director and Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) for Niagara Region since August 2025. Previously, Boyal held the position of Senior Leader and Manager of Cyber Security Threat & Risk Management at Toronto District School Board from January 2018 to August 2025. Prior experience includes roles such as Senior Enterprise Information Security Advisor/Team Lead - Technical Services at Cancer Care Ontario, Senior Information Security Advisor - Governance & Risk Management at Rogers Communications, and Senior IT Security Operations Analyst at eHealth Ontario. Boyal's career also features positions at Cancer Care Ontario, TELUS, and Lung Health Foundation, with a foundation in Information Technology from York University, holding a Bachelor of Arts degree.
