Akram Askoul

Akram Askoul is the current Director of Technology Services at Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS). Akram has held this position since January 2008. Prior to that, they were the Associate Director of Infrastructure & Support Services at Niagara Region from November 2000 to January 2008. Before that, they were the Operations Manager - Information Technology at Livingston International from October 1989 to November 2000.

Akram has been instrumental in leading the NRPS through many challenges and changes, most notably the introduction and implementation of new technologies and systems. Akram has a wealth of experience in both the public and private sector, and their knowledge and expertise have been invaluable to the NRPS. Akram is a respected leader and colleague, and they are committed to ensuring that the NRPS is at the forefront of technology and innovation.

Akram Askoul has an Executive MBA in Innovation Leadership from the University of Fredericton. Akram also has a certificate in Project Management from Sheridan College. Akram is a Computer Programmer and works in Computer Systems and Information Technology.
