Vinay Jagtap

Vinay Jagtap, P.Eng., is a seasoned mechanical engineering professional with extensive experience in various roles within the industry. Currently serving as a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Niagara Power Transformer since June 2024, Vinay has also held significant positions as a Senior Mechanical Designer at PTI MANITOBA Inc. since November 2015 and worked with PTI Transformers as a Mechanical Designer from January 2019 to May 2024. Prior experience includes roles at CG Power Systems Canada Inc. and Crompton Greaves Ltd., where Vinay contributed as a Senior Mechanical Designer and Deputy Manager in Design & Technology, respectively. With a career starting as a Mechanical Design Executive at Bharat Bijlee Ltd. and a quality assurance focus at ROTEX AUTOMATION LIMITED, Vinay’s foundation in mechanical engineering began with a Bachelor's and a Diploma from the University of Mumbai.
