Tommaso Cavallari

Tommaso Cavallari is a highly experienced Staff Research Scientist currently at Niantic Spatial, Inc. since June 2025, previously serving in similar roles at Niantic, Inc. from September 2021 to May 2025 and at Five AI from May 2018 to September 2021. Tommaso's extensive background in computer vision, perception, and robotics began with a Postdoctoral Research Assistant position at the University of Oxford from April 2017 to May 2018, followed by a PhD at the University of Bologna, where research was conducted from 2013 to 2017.
