Ac Mahendran

AC Mahendran serves as the Senior Director of Niantic's AR Platform and Internal Games Platform at Niantic, Inc. since August 2022, leading a team of over 100 engineers in the development of support for both external developers and popular internal games. Prior to this role, AC was the Chief Technology Officer at Camera IQ from October 2021 to August 2022, focusing on Augmented and Virtual Reality solutions across multiple platforms. AC held the position of Senior Director for Augmented Reality/Virtual Reality at Unity Technologies from October 2018 to September 2021, overseeing XR development and strategy. Earlier experience includes serving as VP of Engineering at Vuforia/PTC, where AC was responsible for key products, and holding various key roles at QUALCOMM Inc. for over two decades, including leading Qualcomm's delegation in 3GPP standards for advances in mobile networks.
