Yuan He

Yuan Yuan is a Senior Staff Data Scientist and Senior Manager of Data Science at Niantic, Inc., since June 2018, where expertise includes scaling data science teams to support various products and domains, and providing data-driven insights for game design and growth, particularly for Pokémon Go. Prior to Niantic, Yuan served as a Senior Statistician at JP Research, Inc., analyzing class action and automobile safety litigation cases, and built statistical models to evaluate automotive safety features. Yuan's earlier experience includes positions as a Research Analyst at UC Berkeley's Department of Statistics and a Graduate Student Instructor for a statistical computing course. Yuan holds a Master of Arts in Statistics and a Bachelor of Arts in Statistics from the University of California, Berkeley.
