Amy leads nib foundation as it’s Executive Officer, and is also Head of Community at nib with responsibility for delivering an integrated Group-wide approach to community investments, engaging their business, brands and people to bring to life the nib value of “making the world a better place”.
Amy has 20 years of experience in grant-making and program delivery within the government, community and corporate sectors in areas including community development, capacity building and health.
She is passionate about contributing to improved health and social outcomes for the community through the development of strong partnerships and the delivery of innovative projects designed to find new ways to tackle entrenched health challenges.
Executive Officer since 2011, Amy has helped guide the foundation to several major milestones including its tenth anniversary of grant making in 2018, and structural expansion in 2019 to enable the foundation to receive donations of unclaimed dividends from nib’s shareholders and to expand it’s work into communities beyond Australia.
Amy has a Bachelor of Applied Science, a Masters of Public Health and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Amy manages the operation of the foundation, and in conjunction with the nib foundation board develops and executes the foundation's strategy. Responsibilities include governance, policy development, oversight of the funds financial and investment activities, managing national and community partnerships and setting their grant-making and partnership policies and framework.
