Martin Adlington

Martin joined nib in 2013 and has worked in senior leadership roles across nib’s Retail, Corporate Sales, and Corporate Health businesses. He also led the successful integration of GU Health, our corporate health business, into the nib Group following its acquisition in 2017.

In 2020, Martin was promoted to Group Chief People Officer where he is responsible for driving and leading our people agenda, including our diversity and inclusion strategy.

He previously held several senior management positions at Telstra over a 17 year period in which he was responsible for leading hundreds of sales and service employees located across Australia. Martin is a proud advocate for Regional and Rural Australia and is an Alumni of the Australian Rural Leadership Foundation.

Martin has over 30 years of experience in business development, operational, and change management roles across the health insurance, telecommunications, and hospitality industries. He is highly skilled at motivating and leading larger and complex teams through significant change and has a strong track record in building leadership capability and delivering strategic operational outcomes.
