Ville Mälkönen

Ville Mälkönen is a Senior Economist at the Nordic Investment Bank, where they focus on socioeconomic impact assessments of investments and sustainable finance. They previously worked as a Senior Research Economist at VATT from 2004 to 2010, where they served on the executive and advisory boards. Ville also held positions as a Visiting Scholar at both the University of California, Berkeley, and the Bank of Finland. They earned a PhD in Economics from the University of Helsinki in 2004, following their early career as a researcher at the same institution.
