Rene Louwerse

Rene Louwerse has over two decades of extensive experience in the banking sector, currently serving as Managing Director - COO Retail Banking and previously as Head of Operations Retail Banking at NIBC Bank since September 2006. In these roles, Rene has overseen client services, mortgage servicing, and various operational aspects including call center and arrears management. Prior to this, Rene held positions such as Director of Investor Services at NIBC Bank NV and Finance Officer for Corporate Finance at NIBC Bank Netherlands Antilles (Curacao), as well as a Controller at ING Barings. Rene's academic credentials include advanced degrees in Business Administration and Management from prestigious institutions such as Erasmus University Rotterdam and Tilburg University, complemented by executive education from IMD.
