Erik Larnøy

Erik Larnøy has a diverse work experience spanning several organizations in the field of wood technology and research. Erik began their career in 2002 at the Norwegian Forest and Landscape Institute as a Section Leader, a role they held until 2015. From 2006 to 2015, Erik worked at the Norsk Institutt for skog og landskap as a Section Leader and Researcher. In 2015, they joined NIBIO Norwegian Institute of Bioeconomy Research as the Head of the Wood Technology PhD department. Currently, Erik holds the position of President of InnovaWood, a role they assumed in July 2021. Prior to that, they served as the Vice-President of InnovaWood since January 2017.

Erik Larnøy's education history is as follows:

From 2002 to 2006, Erik attended The University of Göttingen and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Wood Science and Wood Products/Pulp and Paper Technology.

From 1999 to 2001, Erik pursued a Master's degree at the Norwegian University of Life Sciences (UMB) in Wood Science and Wood Products/Pulp and Paper Technology.

Between 1995 and 1999, Erik completed a Bachelor's degree in Forestry at Gjøvik University College (HiG).

In 1994 and 1992, Erik attended Søve School of Agriculture and Saggrenda Agriculture School, respectively. However, the specific degrees and fields of study for these periods are unknown.
