Rosalía Morales was Executive Director of NIC Costa Rica from 2012 to 2018 where she led projects related to Internet Governance, Internet Exchange Points (IXPs), cybersecurity, infrastructure and Internet policy, among many others.
Previously, from 2010 to 2012, she was Senior Associate of the Transaction Services group at PriceWaterhouseCoopers in Chicago, IL where she worked on financial consulting related to mergers and acquisitions of companies and Initial Public Offerings (IPOs), and from 2005 and 2006 she was Executive Director of of the Chamber of Technology, Information and Communication (CAMTIC) where he worked to promote the software and technology industry in Costa Rica.
Currently, he is a member of the Directory of the Latin American and Caribbean Internet Addresses Registry (LACNIC).
He was part of different international working groups of the Internet community such as the CCWG Accountability that supported the transition to the new administration of the global Internet root, the Strategy and Operations Group of the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers ( ICANN), and the Policy Group of the Latin American Association of Domain Names (LACTLD).
Rosalía earned her MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, her Master of International Studies from the Lauder Institute of the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and her BA in Economics and International Studies from Macalester College, Saint Paul, MN. She is also a Kauffman Fellow part of the Kauffman Fellowship Program in Palo Alto, CA focused on Venture Capital and Innovation.
