Eliza Mejia

Eliza Mejia, MS, PHR has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Eliza most recently held the position of VP of People at Nice Healthcare, where they provided strategic leadership and direction for the company's human resources department. Prior to that, Eliza served as the Director, Head of People at Meetup, where they oversaw various people-related functions. Eliza also gained valuable experience as the People Experience Manager at Landit, where they focused on creating a positive and inclusive employee experience. Eliza has a strong background in HR and recruitment, having served as the HR & Recruitment Manager at DevaCurl and as an Associate in HR Operations at New York Life Insurance Company. Eliza possesses expertise in recruiting operations, as demonstrated by their role as a Quality Assurance professional in Recruiting Operations at Capital One. Eliza's career started at Columbia Business School, where they served as a Reception Coordinator in the Career Management Center. With a master's degree in a relevant field and a professional HR certification, Eliza is well-equipped to contribute to the success of any organization they join.

Eliza obtained a Bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences from Purchase College, SUNY. Eliza has pursued further education in Negotiation and Conflict Resolution at Columbia University.
