Gavin Higgins CEng FRINA has a strong work experience in the shipbuilding and repair industry. Gavin is currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of Everett Ship Repair, a position they have held since August 2019. Prior to this, they were the Chief Executive Officer of Nichols Brothers Boat Builders starting from November 2014. Before that, they worked as the Chief Operating Officer at Nichols Brothers Boat Builders from August 2012 to November 2014.

Gavin also has experience as General Manager at Shelburne Ship Repair from November 2011 to August 2012. Gavin had a long tenure at Derecktor Shipyards, working as VP Business Development from June 2009 to December 2011, Director of Project Management from June 2007 to June 2009, and Chief Operating Officer from June 2001 to June 2007.

Prior to joining Derecktor Shipyards, they served as the General Manager at R.E. Derecktor Inc. from June 1994 to June 2001. And starting from February 1988, they worked as the Chief Engineer at R.E. Derecktor Inc. until June 1994.
