VP Farming Operations at Nichols Farms

James Nichols has a diverse work experience. James currently holds the position of President at HotSpot AG since 2018. Prior to that, they worked at Nichols Farms from 2013 to 2018, where they served as the VP Farming Operations and Farm Technology Manager. Before joining Nichols Farms, they worked at Texas A&M University as a Food Security and Technology Researcher in 2012. James also participated in the Incomes, Food Security and Technology in Rural Communities of Liberia Study. Additionally, in 2010, they participated in an International Work Exchange Program at Borges, Fruesa S.A. in another country.

James Nichols attended the University of California, Davis from 2006 to 2010, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Crop Science and Management. In addition to their degree, they also obtained a certification as a Private Pilot - Single Engine Fixed Wing from the Federal Aviation Administration in December 2008.
