Peter Scocchi

Peter Scocchi is a Manufacturing Engineer at Nichols Portland since May 2022. Prior to this role, Peter served as a Teaching Assistant at the Machine Tool Lab, University of Maine from September 2018 to May 2022, where responsibilities included assisting in the instruction of manual milling and lathe machine usage and overseeing shop operations for student projects. Additionally, Peter gained experience as an Engineering Intern at the Process Development Center, University of Maine, from May 2021 to September 2021, focusing on paper machine maintenance and developing new parts for research. Peter holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology with a specialization in Renewable Energy Science and Technology from the University of Maine, completed in May 2022.
