Shyamsunder Wadhwa

Shyamsunder Wadhwa has had a diverse and extensive work experience. Shyamsunder started their career in 1988 as a Manager at Unichem Laboratories Limited, where they were responsible for costing and MIS. Shyamsunder then moved on to Dabur India Limited in 1996, where they served as General Manager, overseeing financial accounting and MIS reporting. After that, from 2005 to 2019, they worked at Firestar Group as Vice President of Accounting, focusing on financial accounting of overseas subsidiaries and MIS reporting of business verticals. In 2018, they became a self-employed Practicing Chartered Accountant before joining Nickunj Eximp Entp P Ltd in 2019 as Vice President of Finance. In this role, they spearheaded the streamlining of the accounting system across the group and India branches, and oversaw the coordination with statutory auditors for timely closure of audits.

Shyamsunder Wadhwa completed their education in the field of accounting and finance. Shyamsunder attended The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India from 1983 to 1987, where they obtained a CA degree. Additionally, they pursued studies in company law at The Institute of Company Secretaries of India from 1989 to 1991, earning a CS degree. Shyamsunder also obtained a CMA degree in cost accountancy from The Institute of Cost Accountants of India, completing their studies from 1983 to 1986.
