Matthew Hafey

Matthew Hafey is a seasoned attorney with nearly 30 years of experience specializing in insurance coverage and bad faith disputes. Currently serving as a Partner at Nicolaides Fink Thorpe Michaelides Sullivan LLP since February 2022, Matthew has honed expertise in policy interpretation and litigation strategies. Prior to this, Matthew was a Member at Nemecek & Cole, leading the Insurance Coverage practice and acting as national coverage counsel for a significant commercial automobile insurer. Matthew has also held partnership roles at Wolf, Rifkin, Shapiro & Schulman, LLP and worked as an Associate at Gabriel Herman & Peretz and ENGSTROM, LIPSCOMB & LACK A PROFESSIONAL CORPORATION. Matthew earned a Juris Doctor from Loyola Law School in 1993 and a Bachelor of Arts in History from Columbia University in 1987.
