Colleen Gross

Colleen Gross is a skilled Mechanical Engineer with extensive experience in the field, currently working at NICOR Lighting since October 2017. Previously, Colleen served as a Directed Energy Scholar at the Air Force Research Laboratory from May 2015 to September 2017, where the development of validated wave-optics simulations advanced phased array technology for next-generation directed energy weapons. Colleen's early career includes roles such as a Teaching Assistant at The Ohio State University, an Engineering Intern at GE Aviation, and a Lab Assistant at Tetra Corporation. Colleen holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from The Ohio State University and completed studies in Laser and Optical Engineering at the Air Force Institute of Technology.
