Julien Poitout

Julien Poitout is a seasoned professional in the energy and engineering sectors, currently serving as the Co-founder and Chief Engineering Officer at Nido since January 2023, where a climate-tech company has been established to enhance heat pump installations in the EU. Prior to this role, Julien held several key positions including Technical Manager at ACCIONA Energía and Energy Efficiency Manager at Énergère, where responsibilities included leading energy engineering teams, training engineers, and providing technical advisement on energy efficiency. Additional roles encompassed positions as Lead Energy Engineer and Energy Engineer, focusing on project management and the design of energy solutions to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, as well as early-stage roles at WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff and Cegertec WorleyParsons. Julien Poitout holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Polytechnique Montréal and participated in a student exchange program in Industrial Engineering at Universidad del Salvador.
