Ron Bloom

Ron Bloom is an accomplished business executive currently serving as General Partner at Commonweal Ventures, where responsibilities include co-chairing the investment committee and advising portfolio companies. Bloom holds several directorships, including positions at Cleveland-Cliffs, Nielsen, ATMOS Financial, and Clarios. Additionally, Bloom is Vice Chairman and Managing Partner at Brookfield Asset Management, contributing to the management of the firm's $50 billion Private Equity Group. Previous roles include Director positions at BrandSafway, Westinghouse Electric Company, and GrafTech International Ltd., as well as serving as Chairman and Board of Governor for the United States Postal Service. Bloom earned an MBA with Distinction from Harvard Business School and holds a degree from Wesleyan University.
