Kelly Minick is an experienced educator and specialist with a focus on teaching excellence. Currently serving as a Senior Specialist at the National Institute for Excellence in Teaching since January 2021, Minick previously held roles as a Region Support Coach and Transformation Coach at the South Carolina Department of Education from June 2017 to January 2021. From 2002 to January 2017, Minick contributed to Saluda High School as an English Teacher, TAP Master Teacher/Instructional Coach, and TAP Mentor Teacher. Academic achievements include a Master of Education in Executive Leadership from Gardner-Webb University and a Master of Education in Divergent Learning from Columbia College, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from Gardner-Webb University.
