Barrie Bogues Ieng Miet Tifiree

Barrie Bogues IEng MIET TIFireE has extensive experience in the fire service and engineering sectors. Currently serving as a Retained Firefighter with the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service since November 2016, Barrie previously held a role as an Electrical Maintenance Officer with the Education Authority (Northern Ireland) from December 2016 to January 2022. Prior to this, Barrie served as a Contract Manager at William Coates Mechanical & Electrical Engineers and as a Project Engineer at Vaughan Engineering Services Limited. Additional experience includes roles as a Linesman at SPIE and a Retained Firefighter with NIFRS from 2006 to 2013. Barrie's background also includes experience as a Scuba Diving Instructor with PADI and as a Commercial Diver with ABCO Divers. Barrie's education includes a Higher National Certificate in Building Services Engineering from Belfast MET and a C&G NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation from SERC.
