Amit Weil Modlinger

Amit Weil Modlinger is an experienced professional in data science and engineering, currently serving as the Director of Data Science at Nift since October 2024. Prior to this role, Amit held the position of Senior Engineering Manager, Data at Drata from February 2023 to September 2024. Amit's extensive experience includes leading data science teams and projects at Simplex, where positions included Head of Data Science, Data Science Team Leader, and Data Scientist from May 2016 to October 2021. Amit's earlier experience in the IDF - Israel Defence Forces involved roles such as Data Scientist and Software Development Team Leader from 2012 to 2015, and Software Developer from 2009 to 2011. Amit is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Computer Science at The Open University of Israel, having previously completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science at the College of Management Academic Studies. Additionally, Amit received foundational training in computer science at the IDF School of Computer Science (Basmach) in 2008-2009.
