Christopher Chu

Christopher Chu has a diverse work experience in the software engineering field. Christopher is currently working as a Lead Backend Software Engineer at Nifty Island since April 2021. Prior to that, they were a Senior Software Engineer at Pluralsight from October 2018 to April 2021. Christopher also worked as a Web Development Engineer at Amazon from January 2017 to October 2018.

Earlier in their career, Christopher worked at Zipcar, starting as a Software Engineer Co-op from January 2014 to June 2014, where they contributed to various projects and implemented features on Ruby on Rails web applications. Christopher then continued their role as a Software Engineer from June 2015 to December 2016, working on front and back-end web application feature development.

Before Zipcar, Christopher gained experience at NetApp as a Software Developer Co-op from January 2013 to June 2013, and as a Software QA Co-op from January 2012 to July 2012. Christopher began their career as a Helpdesk Intern at Nobis Engineering, Inc., where they provided technical support, diagnosed and resolved hardware and software issues, and designed batch scripts for company-wide tasks.

Overall, Christopher has demonstrated their expertise and skills in software engineering through their various roles and experiences in different organizations.

Christopher Chu attended Andover High School from 2006 to 2010, but did not receive any formal degree or specialize in any specific field of study during that time. After completing high school, they went on to pursue a Bachelor's Degree in Computer and Information Science with a minor in Art and Design at Northeastern University from 2010 to 2015.
