Tosin Afowowe, PhD, is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in virology, public health, and veterinary medicine. Currently serving as a Grant Manager, Virologist, and Veterinary Doctor at the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control since May 2017, Tosin Afowowe manages US-CDC Global Health Security Agenda funds and focuses on laboratory diagnosis of significant diseases such as Lassa fever, Influenza, Yellow Fever, and Monkeypox using advanced molecular and serological techniques.
