Olufemi Fadairo

Olufemi Fadairo has extensive work experience in the field of information security and fraud management. Olufemi is currently serving as the Chief Information Security Officer at ProvidusBank since April 2021. Prior to this, they held the role of Head of Industry Security Services and Fraud Management at Nigeria Inter-Bank Settlement Systems PLC starting from March 2014. In this role, they were responsible for ensuring the protection of information system assets and attaining industry-mandated security certifications for the National Central Switch in Nigeria. Olufemi also established and managed the national central Anti-fraud unit, overseeing the safety of electronic transactions across the country. Before joining Nigeria Inter-Bank Settlement Systems PLC, Olufemi held various positions including Head of Payment Terminal Service Aggregator (PTSA) at the same organization from March 2010 to April 2013. Olufemi also worked as an Assistant Manager of IT Enterprise Security at Cotecna Inspection from April 2006 to February 2010 and as a Consultant for Application Development Security at Gems Consulting Company in 2006. Olufemi's earlier experience includes serving as the IS/IT Security Manager in the Enterprise Security Division at GENII SYSTEMS LIMITED from June 2003 to January 2006.

Olufemi Fadairo has a strong education background in computer science. Olufemi obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Ilorin in 2003, followed by a Master of Science in Computer Science from the same university in 2013. In 2017, Olufemi completed the Senior Management Program (SMP 64) at Lagos Business School, Pan-Atlantic University. In addition to their formal education, Olufemi has obtained several certifications in various IT and security fields, including CISSP, CISA, CEH, CFE, ISO27001 LA, ISO27001 LI, PRINCE 2, CCNA, and ITIL, from reputable institutions such as ISC2, ISACA, and ACFE.
