Emeka Offor has a long and successful history in the financial sector in Nigeria. Emeka began their career at Diamond Bank Plc in 1992, eventually becoming the Ag Head of Treasury/Commercial Banking. In 1999 they moved to Zenith Bank Plc where they held the position of Senior Management Executive (Business Development) for 11 years.

In 2010 they became the CEO of Actag Limited, and the following year they took on the role of Principal, Global Deals, at Nova Capital Partners. Emeka left Nova Capital Partners in 2013 to become the Director, Executive Secretary & CEO at Nigerian Investment Promotion Commission, where they currently work.

Emeka Offor has a MSc in Corporate Governance from Leeds Beckett University United Kingdom, a Project Management certification from the Project Management Academy, and a Fellowship from the Society for Project Management & Development Professionals International. Emeka also has an MBA in Business Administration from the University of Lagos and a Finance for Development certification from the World Bank. Additionally, they have received certifications from ITCILO in Investment Facilitation, Sustainable Development and Building Back Better, and Rural Development Academy 2021.
