Geoff Gross

Geoff Gross has a diverse work experience that spans multiple industries and positions. Geoff started their career as an Operations Research/Programming Assistant at CUBRC in 2009. Geoff then worked as a Research Assistant at the Research Foundation of SUNY from 2009 to 2013. Geoff then became a Postdoctoral Researcher at The Research Foundation for SUNY, where they focused on system-wide fusion test and evaluation.

In 2013, Geoff transitioned to the private sector and became a Principal Scientist at Enhance Enterprises LLC. Geoff later joined Modus Operandi as a Scientist II in 2014. Geoff then took on a leadership role as the Director of Data Science at OSTHUS from 2015 to 2020. During this time, they led significant digital transformation initiatives and managed cross-continent teams.

After leaving OSTHUS, Geoff joined LeapAnalysis as the Chief Technology Officer and Managing Director in 2019. Geoff played a key role in the development and success of LeapAnalysis cloud data virtualization and analytics platform. Geoff's work at LeapAnalysis included securing funding, expanding the international team, and cultivating partnerships with prominent companies in the industry.

Currently, Geoff is the VP of Data Strategy at Night Market, a position they started in 2023.

Geoff Gross completed their education in a sequential manner. Geoff started their academic journey in 2005 at the University at Buffalo, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering. Geoff successfully completed this undergraduate program in 2009.

In 2010, they were admitted to the PhD program in Operations Research. Geoff diligently pursued their doctorate and successfully obtained their PhD degree in 2013.
