Chad van Brunt

Chad Van Brunt's work experience includes serving as the Director of Marketing and Product Management at Nightforce Optics starting in July 2022. Prior to this role, they served as a Product Manager at the same company from June 2019 to July 2022. Before joining Nightforce Optics, Chad worked as a Product Line Manager at Bushnell from November 2016 to June 2019. Chad also worked as a Development Engineer at PROOF Research, Inc. from March 2014 to November 2016. Chad's previous experience includes working as a Mechanical Engineer/Test Officer at the US Army Aberdeen Test Center from June 2009 to March 2014, and as an Engine Team Leader and Engine Tuner at Virginia Tech Formula SAE from August 2006 to May 2009. Chad also gained experience as a Product Design Engineering Intern at BAE Systems in 2008, a Systems Engineering Intern at BAE Systems in 2007, and an Engineering Intern at Emerson Network Power in 2006.

Chad Van Brunt attended Virginia Tech from 2005 to 2009, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering. In addition, they have earned several certifications, including Level 1 in Systems Engineering from DAWIA in July 2013, Range Safety Officer from the National Rifle Association in August 2012, and Level 2 in Test and Evaluation from DAWIA in June 2011.
