Nightingale College
Jeffrey A. Olsen, PhD, has extensive experience in educational leadership and instructional design, currently serving as President at Nightingale College since December 2017, with previous roles including Acting President and Vice President of Learner Experience and Provost. Prior to this, Olsen was Instructional Design Manager for the College of Health Professions at Western Governors University from June 2014 to November 2017, and worked as a Regional Education and Training Specialist at Virginia Mason Franciscan Health in 2007-2008. Olsen also has a background in secondary education, having served as Theater Director and English and History teacher at Graham Kapowsin High School from 2005 to 2007. Educational credentials include a Doctorate in Instructional Technology and Learning Science from Utah State University, along with two Master’s degrees in Instructional Design and Technology and Secondary Social Studies Education, and a Bachelor’s degree in History with a Minor in English from Brigham Young University.
