Ida Tuononen

Ida Tuononen has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Starting in 2006, they worked as an Assistant at the ASEM 6 Summit. In 2009, they became an Editorial Assistant at Nature Publishing Group, where they worked on the international scientific journal Leukemia. In 2012, they joined Neste Jacobs Oy as a Communication Designer, responsible for internal communications and supporting business operations. From 2015 to 2019, they worked at If Insurance (If P&C Insurance) in communication roles, including as a Communication Officer and Communication Advisor. In 2019, they also worked as a Freelance Writer. Finally, since 2019, they have been serving as the Business Director Japan at Nightingale Health Ltd., responsible for market entry and operations in Japan. Additionally, in 2020, they became the Vice President of the Board of Directors at the Finnish Chamber of Commerce in Japan.

Ida Tuononen pursued their education at the University of Jyväskylä where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Organizational Communication & PR from 2007 to 2011. Following this, they furthered their studies at the same university and completed a Master of Arts degree in Organizational Communication & PR from 2018 to 2020. In addition to their studies at the University of Jyväskylä, Ida also attended Kanda University of International Studies in 2010-2011, focusing on Japanese Language and Culture Studies.
