Maiju Soikkeli

Maiju Soikkeli began their work experience in 2008 as a Research Trainee and Research Assistant at the University of Helsinki. Maiju held various roles at the university, including Research Trainee, Research Assistant, and Postdoctoral Researcher.

In 2012, Maiju joined Kemira as a Research Trainee and later moved on to the University of Helsinki, where they worked as a Research Trainee, Research Assistant, and PhD Candidate. During their time at the university, they focused on designing and synthesizing organic contrast agents for magnetic resonance imaging, conducting NMR studies, and analyzing reaction products.

In 2020, Maiju joined Orion Corporation as a Research Scientist, where they worked until 2021. Their responsibilities included conducting research in the field of science.

Currently, Maiju is employed at Nightingale Health, where they have held the roles of Senior Laboratory Specialist and Laboratory Manager since 2021.

Maiju Soikkeli completed their education at the University of Helsinki. Maiju obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Organic Chemistry from 2006 to 2011. Maiju then pursued further studies and earned a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Organic Chemistry from 2011 to 2013. Their academic journey continued, leading their to complete their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Chemistry from 2014 to 2019.
