Peter Würtz

Peter Würtz has a diverse work experience in the fields of scientific research and academia. Peter started their career as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Turku in 2009. Peter then held positions as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Oulu and Imperial College London in 2009 and 2010 respectively. From 2011 to 2014, they worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Institute for Molecular Medicine FIMM. Subsequently, they became the Head of Molecular Epidemiology in the Computational Medicine Research Team at the University of Oulu from 2013 to 2016. In 2014, they joined Nightingale Health as the Epidemiology Director, and later as the Scientific Director from 2016. Finally, in 2017, they worked as an Academy Research Fellow at the University of Helsinki.

Peter Würtz began their education journey in 2001 at Aarhus University, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Physical Sciences. Peter successfully completed their undergrad studies in 2004 and then proceeded to enroll at the same university for a Master's degree in Chemistry. This endeavor lasted from 2004 to 2006, indicating their dedication to furthering their knowledge in the field of Chemistry. Subsequently, in 2007, Peter embarked on a PhD program at the prestigious University of Helsinki, specializing in Biophysics. This marked a significant milestone in their education, where they likely conducted extensive research and advanced their expertise in this specific area. Peter'sPhD studies concluded in 2008, solidifying their status as a qualified doctorate holder in the field of Biophysics.
