Sumy Choi

Sumy Choi has a diverse work experience, starting in 2011 as an Industrial Designer at DESIGNK2L inc., where they gained expertise in the product design process. From 2015 to 2017, Sumy worked as a Tour Guide and Interpreter as a freelancer. In 2018, they joined Design Innovation Studio as a Trainee in Business and Service Design. Later in the same year, Sumy transitioned to HiQ Finland, where they held multiple roles including Junior UX & Service Designer and UI/UX & Service Designer. Sumy worked on various projects, organized workshops, and contributed to the digitalization efforts for clients. In 2022, Sumy joined Nightingale Health as a UI/UX Designer.

Sumy Choi pursued their education in various institutions and fields of study. Sumy started their educational journey in 2006 by attending Yonsei University, where they completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Human Environment and Design in 2011. During their time at Yonsei University, they also briefly studied Industrial Design at Linnaeus University in 2009.

After completing their undergraduate studies, Sumy furthered their education by enrolling in Aalto University in 2014. Sumy finished their Master of Arts degree in Collaborative and Industrial Design at Aalto University in 2018. Additionally, in 2015 and 2016, Sumy had the opportunity to study at Delft University of Technology, earning a Master of Engineering degree with a specialization in Design for Interaction.
