Yash Pal Sahni

Mr. Yash Pal Sahni, one of the pioneers of Indian IT industry, is a strategic advisor to Nihilent’s India operations. He is ex-President and COO of Tata Consultancy Services and has more than 40 years of experience in Information Technology and consulting. An integral part of TCS since its inception in 1968, Mr. Sahni was responsible for growth of TCS operations, along with their consultancy operations worldwide.

Mr. Sahni has donned several roles after his stint with TCS, including as Executive Chairman of ALIT, the IT arm of Hinduja Group, Director of iSmart Global, Advisor at iPractice, strategic advisor to GTL among others. He was also on a short assignment with KK Birla group and was involved in the acquisition of a based company as part of its growth strategy.Mr. Sahni holds an honours degree in Maths and Masters in Applied Statistics. He is ex-President and Fellow of Institute of Management Consultants of India (IMCI). He has attended several senior management development programmes at business schools including Harvard Business School (ISMP).
