S M Hema Kumar

S M Hema Kumar has extensive work experience in finance and accounting. They currently hold the position of Chief Financial Officer at NIHON TECHNOLOGY, where they have been working since 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Corporate Finance at the same company from 2020 to 2022. In 2022, they also started working as a Chartered Accountant at S M HEMA KUMAR & Co. Before joining NIHON TECHNOLOGY, they worked at Priya Consultancy Service as a Member of Consulting Staff from 2019 onwards. From 2018 to 2020, they were the Regional Financial Controller at Blue Star Limited, where they led a team of account executives and coordinated with banks and other departments. Prior to that, they held the position of Business Finance Manager at LG India from 2014 to 2018, focusing on working capital management. They also worked at Thirumalai Chemicals Ltd as a Senior Account Executive from 2012 to 2014 and received articleship training at PKF SRIDHAR & SANTHANAM from 2006 to 2009.

S M Hema Kumar obtained their Bachelor's degree in Comp Applications from Sri Venkateswara University from 2002 to 2004. Following this, they pursued a Chartered Accountant degree, specializing in Accounting, Taxation, and Auditing, at The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India from 2004 to 2011. In 2012, they completed a Systems Audit program at The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and earned a DISA certificate.
