Abbie Kimerling, Ph.D., is an accomplished engineering leader in chemical engineering, currently leading a team of airsole tooling design engineers at Nike. Abbie has a diverse background, having previously worked as a Development Engineer at ImTech Technologies, and held various roles at Nike, including Aesthetic Research & Technology Manager and Senior Manager of Tooling Design Engineering. Abbie earned a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, after receiving a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Oregon State University. Passionate about teaching and community engagement, Abbie has founded a sports-based book club and leads a 4-H Clothing and Textiles club.
