Cate Yu

Cate Yu is an experienced talent acquisition professional with a focus on executive search and technical sourcing in high-tech industries. Currently serving as the Lead Sourcing Researcher for Nike's Executive Talent Research & Insights team since 2022, Cate engages with leaders in digital retail technology. Prior roles include Executive Recruiter for Amazon's Strategic Recruiting group, where work centered on AI and machine learning applications, and Technical Sourcing Lead for Oculus at Facebook, specializing in AR/VR technologies. Previous experience also includes positions at Medallia as a Technical Recruiter and leading a project at Carnegie Mellon University's CMU Solutions group focused on career development. Cate holds a Bachelor of Science in International Relations from Carnegie Mellon University, with an additional major in French & Francophone Studies, complemented by studies at Université Jean Moulin in Lyon.
